Poetry is not something set apart, something separate from the everyday of life. Poetry is there in the thick of life. That's why fierceheadpress created the Poetry Stall at Swiss Cottage Market in the heart of London, where thousands of people mill and throng every Saturday, and where everything from apples, oranges, pears and potatoes to jewellery, books, antiques, clothing and watches are sold.

At the Poetry Stall you can buy poems, posters, cards, and candles, but you will also hear poetry read aloud. The Poetry Stall is a gathering point for all lovers of poetry, and each week we hope to have guest poets who recite and read their work for the enjoyment of all those who care to stop and listen.
