Hurling in Kilkenny

Dan Kennedy of fierceheadpress has just released two CD's. The first is a tribute to his favourite hurling team, Kilkenny Cats, and is called 'Hurling in Kilkenny'. The second is a CD of poetry titled 'Deadly'. Poems on the album include, Terrible Beauty, a sardonic take on theme-park Ireland, and The Boatman, a poem which tells the tragic story of how the wild naivety of the emigrant can lead to self-destruction.
